Xiaomi September 15 event

As the summer months draw to a close, tech companies are starting to pile up calendars with calendars and product launches. Xiaomi is set to host a major event on Wednesday, September 15, where we will be seen in the pipeline of manufacturers of the latest smartphones, tablets, and other products. With that in mind, here’s a breakdown of what to expect at the event.

Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro.

Both the phones are expected to pack a 120Hz refresh rate display which is AMOLED type. The chipset department should make an enormous difference with the 11T using MediaTek’s Density 1200, while the 11T Pro should arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888.

The star of the show will be the brand new Xiaomi 11T series. We expect a vanilla and pro model and that they will mark the primary premium Xiaomi phones to be launched on the worldwide stage without MI branding which was confirmed by Xiaomi last month.

A pre-August leak detailed the 11T’s camera setup: a 64MP OmniVision OV64B main sensor, a Sony IMX355 Ultra Wide shooter, and an unknown 3x ‘TeleMacro’ camera. The 11T Pro can choose a similar setup but with a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro will also charge up to 120W via USB-C, while the 11T’s charging speed is still unknown. Both 11T models will receive three Android version upgrades and four years of security updates in their lifetime.

Xiaomi September 15 event

Global launch of the Xiaomi Pad 5 series.

Last month, Xiaomi re-entered the Android tablet realm with its Xiaomi Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro – two 11-inch slates with 120Hz IPS LCD and powered by Snapdragon 860 and 870 chipsets, respectively. ۔ The only caveat was that the two were exclusive to China, but it looks like Wednesday’s event will change and international consumers will be able to buy Xiaomi Pads.
