Xiaomi Redmi K50 Pro
The Xiaomi Redmi K50 lineup is still piped around the mystery and there is no information about it. However, according to a well-known Weibo tip start, we have some key specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi K50 Pro +, a member of the family’s top tier.
Yes. It appears that Xiaomi is once again producing the Pro + variant of the Yero Khar K50 and its basic specs have apparently been revealed. We can expect the powerful and still unannounced Snapdragon 898 chipset to power the handset while the 5,000 mAh battery will keep the lights on.
Speaking of light, the display is curved with a sealed camera and a central punch hole for an under-display fingerprint reader. Or at least that’s what we were able to collect from the Google translation of the Weibo post.
On the front of the camera, we should see a 108MP main camera coupled with a Periscope telephoto shooter. If those specs are accurate, the Pro + will be a full flagship and not just a flagship killer.
The Snapdragon 898 portion assures us that the K50 Pro + will not arrive this year’s holiday season, though. Qualcomm generally announces its flagship SoCs will roll out at the beginning of every year and the first devices to be the company’s latest and most up-to-date startup. So it’s easy to assume that the Redmi K50 Pro + will be out sometime in early 2022.
