POCO is about to launch the F4 series of smartphones. While the company didn’t share any finer details about the upcoming devices, the POCO F4 and F4 Pro have appeared on the certification website revealing some of their specs.
For those unaware, the F4 range will include base, Pro, and F4 GT variants. But now, a recent leak has revealed interesting information about the vanilla model. The POCO F4 has been spotted on the FCC certification website (Via MySmartPrice ), hinting at an imminent launch. It comes with the 22021211RG model number and even recently appeared on the EEC listing. Additionally, the FCC database lists the device with MIUI 13, a custom skin based on Android 12.
Apart from that, the certification also revealed that the smartphone will be powered by a 4,400mAh battery pack with support for up to 67W fast charging. This model supports 5G networking and has at least 3 5G frequency bands. Previously, the BIS listing revealed that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, along with 8GB of RAM. Likewise, the Chinese brand’s F4 Pro has also appeared on another certification site. IMDA lists a high-end variant with model number 22021211G.
Although, this listing does not reveal any information or specifications related to the device. However, a recent IMEI database revealed its storage configuration, which includes 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants. Notably, this model may launch in India as Mi 12X Pro or Redmi K50 Pro+. That means it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and will feature a 108-megapixel main camera.
