Oppo Reno7 Pro

Lexter Digital Chat Station is aware of Oppo’s upcoming flagship smartphones – the Reno7 Pro model (PFDM00) will use Sony IMX766 sensors. It could be a phone that was developed with a codec that uses two such sensors. Although it may be a new model value model instead.

Anyhow, IMX766 is very popular at Oppo Headquarters. It is currently used by Renault 6 Pro + as well as Renault 6 Pro’s Snapdragon version and FindX3 Pro flagship. These sensors (or their custom versions) are also used in phones from OnePlus, Realme, Vivo, and .in.

It is a 1 / 1.56 ”sensor with 50MP resolution and 1.0 µm dual pixels (which increases to 2.0 .m with 4-in-1 binding). Also, it supports DOL-HDR all-pixel autofocus.

According to DCS, this sensor will bring remarkable enablement in image quality on the Reno7 model compared to the Reno7 Pro. But note that it shows the Dimensity 1200 version of 6 Pro, which is sold in China and uses 64 MP OmniVision OV64B, 1 / 2.0 ”sensor with 0.7 µm pixels.

OV64B is also used in vanilla Reno6, so there should be a new vanilla model for a camera upgrade as well.
