Official Xiaomi Civi’s

Xiaomi announced yesterday that it will introduce the new smartphone of the Civi’s series on September 27 in China, and the company posted some teasers on its Weibo account, revealing Civi’s design.

At first glance, the Xiaomi Civi’s could easily be mistaken for the Vivo X60 Pro’s Shimmer Blue versatility – thanks to the camera island, the paint job, and the central punch-hole screen.

However, upon closer inspection, you may notice that the Civi’s back has a stereo pattern, which reminds us of the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G’s Astral Blue and the Aurora variants of the Reno6 Pro 5G. This clearly shows what has impressed Xiaomi’s product team for Civi’s, and it is reasonable enough for a brand that is often seen to be accused of copying copies.

Despite the copied design, the Xiaomi Civi’s looks pretty good, and a teaser reveals that the smartphone will come with Dolby Atmos voice enhancements and a USB-C port, which is fitted with antenna lines, suggesting a metal frame. Why. There’s no 3.5mm headphone jack, though, so you’ll have to rely on wireless earphones if you’re the one who prefers to charge the phone when using it.

Xiaomi also shared Civi’s dimensions. It is 71.5 mm wide, 6.98 mm thin, and weighs 166 grams.

While Xiaomi’s teaser shows show Civi’s in one color, some live images are shared by a Weibo user letting us know that there is a black color model as well.

Xiaomi has not revealed any specifications of the Civi’s yet, but a Weibo leak claims that the smartphone has a Snapdragon 778G SoC, 6.55 ”FullHD + 120Hz screen, 64MP primary camera, 32MP selfie camera, and 4,500 mAh battery. Comes with 55W charging. The last bit has been confirmed by a trusted Tapster digital chat station, which has shared over a dozen shared images of Civi’s, some of which are showing us the 55W adapter bundle.

There is also a non-boxing video, which shows that Civi’s will run MIUI 12.5.1 and will have 256GB of storage.

We are still four days from the launch ceremony, so expect some of Xiaomi Civi’s features to be confirmed by some of them.
