HTC to introduce a new VR headset
HTC to introduce a new VR headset, which will be introduced during a virtual ceremony on October 14, at 8 AM PDT. According to rumors, the device will be called Vive Flow, hence the “W with Flow” tagline.
Internal sources say the headset will be designed for multimedia use and access to some casual games. It’s probably safe to assume that the WiFi will be a lightweight compact device and will not come with controllers, and its gaming focus will be much less powerful than the lib Irons.
The stream will be proud of the 6-degree-of-freedom tracking wiring made from Oculus Go, for example.
Finally, the source mentions something about working on HTC One virtual world with its own name Viveport Verse. You can control your 3D avatar and visit some events in HTC’s Metros. An NFT showroom is also expected but the interesting part is that Viveport Verse will not be exclusive to VR headset owners. It is accessible via desktop computers and mobile devices.
